I’m doing okay…I am still working on coping with the loss of my little brother. It is especially difficult this time of the year but I am hopeful that I’ll continue to learn and get better at dealing with it.
So much has happened in my life since he passed away and I stopped posting on my blog. Exactly one month after he died, someone broke into my apartment. I was home at the time. I learned this evil individual had been watching me for quite some time. I am thankful to still be here today. Thankful is an understatement, actually. This is another issue that is still quite difficult to discuss, but, I know that talking about things more is just what I need to do in order to move on and heal.
It hasn’t been all bad news since I’ve been away from Tumblrland. The best thing that has happened in my life (ever) took place in October when Tim and I got married!! He has been there for me in ways I could never have imagined. We grew so much closer during the tough times we went through together and realized we couldn’t wait for life to get easier or relationships with family to get better. So, we went to the courthouse and did what we had been waiting to do for what felt like so long. Looking back, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I’m glad we realized that we already had all we needed.
